J Black Code Event, Organizers of the Bono Ahafo Music Awards (BAMA) launched the maiden edition of the award scheme in sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region on saturday, 10th March 2018 at the Centre for National Culture(CNC).
The event which will be the first in the region seeks to recognize, celebrate, honour and support talents in the region and various dedicated industry players.
The Launch saw quite a number of radio personalities, musicians and music lovers all under one roof for the launching.
Head of J Black Code Event, Joshua outlined how the the scheme will be handled this year to ensure fairness and transparency. He said a 13 member selection committee will be created in the regions whose main responsibility is to screen the songs that will filed in the year under review. After which another member board will then shortlist to come out with the final nomination list.
In all the scheme will see 29 award categories
