Dickson Ofosu Arthur is his name known in the music as Joe Rime he started elementary school at Ebenezer International school at Dansoman where he lived with his Dad and moved to D/C primary school at Bawjiase where his mum was staying. His father died when he was 10yrs so he had to relocate with his mum to Ofaakor to continue his education since his mum could not take care of his education. He then continued his junior high school at Ofaakor D/C so after one academic year when got to J.H.S (2) and he moved to kasoa to stay with his elder sister and continued his education there. He was admitted Open Hearted Academy in Class 6 because his uncle promised to take care of his education but his cursons were in the same class (form 2) with him. But he later moved to Light Of God Academy was admitted in J.H.S 2 and he was voted as the class prefect and assistant school prefect in the year 2010. But due to financial problem he could not complete there so he registered his final year examination at St. Martha's catholic school at kasoa. He completed high school there in 2011 and had admmition at Potsin T.I Ahmadiyya senior high school that same year and completed the year 2014. He started singing people's song when he was 5 years but he wrote his own rap at the age of 11 after the death of his Dad. He recorded his first Demo in J.H.S 1 and continued his music career from there. He was known on stage as kemical but he changed his name to Joe Rime and Created his Empire named Rime Nation.
He played at many shows including high schools and has been on the same stage with most Ghanain top musician like Luther, AMG Medikal, Wisa Greid,Samini, Atom, sarkodie and shatta wale. He released tracks like Kongoaso, African ladies, Daamu, One day, mosey puma, kawaano paado which he featured kwame Yogot the rap comedian on it, Ay3dam, Shuru (2016), mybabe(2016), Election result (2016), and now he dropped a new club banger titled [Die 4 u ] which features artiste like Crazy Rat, Mekoland and Freeza Rime
